Percy's Organic Lamb

We started with a Jacob flock and then introduced a Suffolk ram. The replacement ewes were then put in with a Texel. The resulting carcasses were full of flavour and well proportioned. We followed on with a blue Texel ram and latterly have re-introduced a Suffolk and also a Grey Faced Dartmoor, which not only produce fabulous meat but also give us wonderful sheepskins of different colours and textures.
The sheep are well tended and are left to roam in the woodland during the winter; this allows them to shelter from the elements, eat the succulent grass between the trees together with the ivy and the holly, which keeps them fit and healthy.
